| A comfortable and appealing ranch style cottage with a large fenced back yard and covered patio complete with a gas barbeque, picnic table and lawn chairs. The living room and dining area is perfect for family gatherings in front of the large fireplace over looking at the San Francisco peaks. The romantic bedroom has its own bathroom with a pedestal sink and shower enclosure. The bed is a queen, in soft floral colors, with a down comforter. The other two bedrooms share a bath. One bedroom has a queen bed with a sunflower motif and the other has twin beds decorated in green and white. |

Lowell Observatory - on Route 66 (also called a Santa Fe). This is where in 1930 the planet (we still believe it's a planet!!!) Pluto was discovered. Tours, lectures, slide show and stargazing are available. LowellObservatory.edu

Riordan Mansion State Park - near Northern Arizona University, this is an excellent example of the Arts & Crafts Movement in architecture that housed the Riordan families, some of Flagstaff's founding fathers. RiordanMansion
